Welcome to our website. Tai Chi 4 U was established in 2006 with a mission to promote the philosophy and practice of Tai Chi as a way to achieve mental and physical wellness. Our goals are to exchange Tai Chi philosophy, art forms, and practice with Tai Chi enthusiasts through social media; and to inspire the practice of Tai Chi through the teaching of its fundamentals and health benefits.
My name is Denny Fong, and I have been practicing Tai Chi since 1982. In my youth, Tai Chi seemed slow, and I preferred the more physically demanding martial arts and exercises. As I aged, these exercises became difficult. What little health gains I achieved, I was set back with injuries. At work, I was stressed out. The world was moving too fast, and I was not able to keep up physically and mentally. It was then I rediscovered Tai Chi and its health benefits. My renewed interest kept me practicing Tai Chi and improved my health into my senior years. I saw the slow movements are profound on many levels. With over 30 years of practice, I wish to share my experience and the many benefits of Tai Chi. I am, foremost, a lifelong student.
